I started working out regularly back in 2012-2013 to manage work related stress.
I used to work with children and vulnerable adults helping them achieve and enhance independence in everyday activities, to facilitate normal development and learning.
But due to the adverse circumstances and emotional strain, I gained weight and recognised that I needed a change.
In 2014, I joined a CrossFit box and seeing what a huge difference exercising makes, it wasn’t long until I completed the coaching internship, along with the CrossFit Level 1 Certificate in 2015, CrossFit Level 2 and CrossFit Kids in 2016.
Soon after this, I was coaching full time, both adults and kids, groups and personal training sessions.
After attending the Catalyst Athletics Olympic Weighting Level 1 seminar, my attention turned to Olympic weightlifting. I became a competitive athlete, and wanting to properly fuel my body for my own training sessions as well as helping others achieve their goals, I completed the Precision Nutrition certification course and also started studying pre- and post-natal exercising, hoping that I can share with others all the knowledge I accumulated in the past years.
