Before discovering across CrossFit in 2016, Laura was a Regional and County level swimmer for over eight years. She continued to stay in the swimming world but instead, to coach and teach where she found that this was much more fun. Seeing the progress of the members week to week, and being a contributing factor to that was exciting and rewarding.
A summer spent in America was the deciding factor to transition over from swimming to CrossFit and to pursue a career in the fitness industry.
Having now been a CrossFit coach for 3 years in and around Kent and London, competed for fun in individual and team events and competitions, Laura’s enthusiasm for coaching, sharing her knowledge and growing as a coach is something she looks forward to continuing within the community of CrossFit 1971.
